Hi, I’m Justin, and I founded Hiking Heroes New Jersey alongside an incredible group of student changemakers.
I started this club because I believe nature isn’t just a place to enjoy, but a place to take responsibility for. Whether it’s removing invasive plants, planting natives, or restoring neglected trails, we take action where it counts.
Leading this team has been one of the most rewarding parts of my high school experience. I’m proud of the tangible impact we’ve made across New Jersey—and even prouder of the community we’ve grown along the way.

Hello! My name is Muhammad, and I am the Co-Advisor of Hiking Heroes New Jersey. I love research, eating burgers at Marty's, and exploring nature with friends. I value Hiking Heroes New Jersey because it brings our school community together for a good cause: to support our local environment.

Hi, I’m Leo, and I’m delighted to serve as President this year! I’ve always loved exploring local nature centers with friends and family and simply spending time outdoors. I aspire to turn that appreciation for nature into action, helping make our communities cleaner and greener!
Hi! I'm Yena, and I'm really excited to be this year's VP for NJHH! I've always loved being close to nature since I was young, and I can't wait to work with the dedicated team here to preserve the environment I love. One hike at a time, let's all get part of the change!
Hello! I’m Aidan, and I’m excited to serve as Director of Volunteer Engagement! I hope to build partnerships with organizations to create opportunities for collaboration and expand NJHH’s impact. I’m especially committed to protecting native plant species and preserving their habitats!
Hi, I'm Elia, and I'm elated to serve as Director of Education this year! I've always been deeply interested in exploring the outdoors and exploring the ecosystems around us. To me, nature isn't just something to admire or take for granted; it's something to stay connected to and learn from!
Hi! I’m Gabi, and I’m eager to bring my creativity and passion for nature to Hiking Heroes! I’ve always loved spending time outdoors, especially walking and hiking, and I hope to use my skills and leadership experience to promote sustainability and help protect the natural world around us.
Hi! I’m Aryn, and I love using art and design to positively impact the spaces around us! As a co-founder of LocalHue, I’ve seen how creativity can connect people with their communities. I hope to bring that same creativity to caring for and improving our shared environment.
Hi! I’m Nora, and I’m passionate about using art to bring people and communities together! Through LocalHue, I’ve created murals for public spaces, organizations, and small businesses. I’m excited to bring that same creativity to Hiking Heroes and help make a positive impact on our environment!
